The Central Highlands cover a large area from the land west of Loch Linnhe, south of the A830 road to Mallaig, and east as far as the Drumochter Hills west of the A9, Perth to Inverness Road. To make for easier navigation, this area has been divided into the sections depicted on the right. The Glen Coe, Mamore, Nevis and Grey Corries mountains make up the bulk of the images simply because they contain the highest concentration of impressive mountain scenery.
1. Bridge of Orchy and the Black Mount.
2. Glen Coe and the Mamores.
3. Nevis, the Grey Corries & the Loch Treig Hills..
4. Moidart, Ardgour and Morven.
5. Rannoch to Drumochter, west of the A9.
6. Breadalbane and Glen Lyon.
