Killearn is a small rural village located in West Stirlingshire. It has a beautiful situation at the foot of the Campsie Fells with extensive views to Loch Lomond and north to the Scottish Highlands. It lies just outside the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and 10 km south of the Highland Boundary fault. The intervening space is taken up with the lowlands drained by the mature stretches of the River Endrick before it enters Loch Lomond. This area is called Strathendrick which includes the parishes of Killearn, Balfron, Drymen, Fintry, Buchanan and Kilmaronock.
