The area in the Central West Highlands which includes Glen Coe and The Mamores is home to one of the most concentrated and spectacular collection of mountains in Scotland and their high tops offer unlimited scope for adventure. However, and particularly in winter, it is dangerous and many lives have been lost. It is not suitable territory for the ill equipped and inexperienced.
